In the heart of Paris, in the center of the Latin Quarter and a stone's throw away from the Louvre, the Sorbonne and the Luxembourg Garden, the Hotel Bonaparte welcomes you. True to the creativity of many local and talented artists, the manager, who is the fourth generation owner, has collaborated with artists to create a unique and contemporary design while retaining all the important original architectural details– such as the moldings and woodwork– that were designed by the architect Adolphe DEVILLE in the early 1900’s.

Back then, this was the heart of Paris, filled with people in the bustling streets and brasseries of Boulevard Saint Germain in the area that still surrounds the hotel. Poets, writers and artists enjoyed exchanging thoughts and ideas at the Café Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore as did Parisians returning from the Luxembourg Garden as well as students on their way to the Sorbonne.

Paris was the center of the birth of avant-garde artistic movements, such as surrealism, fauvism and cubism. During the 1920's, the Parisian School saw the emergence of new foreign artists who were discovering the City of Light with its unique ambiance and atmosphere. At the same time, jazz and the Charleston arrived in clubs, introduced by Americans who where attracted to Parisian life.

Paris has always been and remains a most sought after destination for any traveler. With all this in mind, a Parisian restaurant owner decided to open a 29-room hotel located at 61rue Bonaparte. For four generations Hotel Bonaparte has provided a unique and authentic experience for its international and French guests.
